TO EDIT FORM NUMBERS ON SAGE 50

This tutorial is about editing and deleting form numbers on Sage 50 Simply Accounting program.
Forms such as invoices, packing slips, reciept numbers etc.
Its very easy. Lets get started.
From the home screen set up menu choose settings, company and forms.
From here you can edit or delete any forms. You can set it up to varify number sequece.

Product Encoding Format
Encoding product information can be done in various formats.
1. Bar codes have been popular in retail stores and have been used to track retail inventory bought and sold.
2. Website link code which we see a lot these days on media.
3. Data matrix format code.
It looks like this:
Each format is suitable for certain function. The 3rd format above is not popular but is an excellent choice for industrial equipment. You need an engraver that can print in data matrix (ECC200 Standard) format which consists of simple dots. No need for ink and it’s very durable.
Innovative Idea: Would be nice to utilize these code formats on receipts. Imagine a code that a smart phone can decipher quickly into related accounting information; date, amount, etc. I am sure new technology would bring that into reality some day.
