Many customers have told us they are successfully using Sage Simply Accounting on a Mac by running Windows using Boot Camp or using emulator software such as Parallels Desktop or Wine. However, Sage has not formally tested Sage Simply Accounting in this environment and we are therefore unable to officially support this environment at this point in time.

I Have Sage Simply Accounting Pro 2011 – Having problems emailing out invoices and statements. When completing the invoice I click the email button at the top, it take about 30 sections before it will post the invoice. The email does not go to my sent file nor is the customer receiving the invoice. What am I doing wrong. Thanks

to show budget vs actual on an income stmt you have to have the budget field turned on.
click on reports, financial, income stmt and turn the budget field on.

Recently a few accounts that I have posted to in the past are no longer available when posting from the General Journal. They still appear in the Chart of Accounts but do not appear in the drop down list in the General Journal. Any reason for this? I am using SA Pro 2011.

The drop down menu does not show some of the accounts you have posted to in the past.
I never ran into this before but try this. Open the chart of accounts and click on the account you can’t access in the general ledger. Make sure the account is not hidden. Un-hide this account if the balance is zero.
If it does not work, the account could have been replaced with a new name.
Let me know if you found a way. I am curious to know how it happened.

Is there an option to purchase the software after the 30 day trial period and how much is the option?

Simply Accounting uses Outlook program to send away emails. You may want to set-up Outlook on your computer.
How do I create an income statement that shows budget vs actuals. I have entered in the budget amounts. We are using Simply 2010
